Dear God,

Do not make my journey easy,
for easy roads have never taught me who I am.

Instead,
give me the strength of the mountain,
that I may remain standing
when storms arrive without warning,
when the winds of doubt grow fierce,
and when the weight of life feels heavier than my shoulders can bear.

Give me courage,
not the courage that knows no fear,
but the courage that walks forward despite it.

Give me the courage to face truth,
even when it shatters my illusions.

Give me the courage to accept reality,
even when it refuses to match my expectations.

Give me the courage to stand alone,
to make my own decisions,
to bear criticism without bitterness,
and to remain patient when the answers do not come.

And Lord,
give me willpower.

When motivation leaves,
let discipline remain.

When excitement fades,
let purpose remain.

When results are invisible,
let faith remain.

Teach me to continue
when every part of me wishes to stop.

Teach me to work
not only for success,
but for the honor of becoming the person
I was created to be.

If I must fall,
give me the strength to rise.

If I must wait,
give me the patience to endure.

If I must choose,
give me the wisdom to decide.

And if I must walk through darkness,
let me remember
that Your light has never left me.

I do not ask for a life without struggle.

I ask for a spirit that cannot be defeated by it.

May my heart remain humble,
my mind remain clear,
my actions remain disciplined,
and my faith remain unshaken.

For every challenge before me,
grant me strength.

For every truth before me,
grant me courage.
